3DD Snaps Up IFC Catalogue

3DD is proud to announce the appointment as new worldwide distributor for the IFC library bringing over 100 hours of programming to the broadcast, DVD and new media landscape (excluding North America).

3DD launches fresh to the market with a number of new IFC programmes including a 3 part 60’ series featuring Henry Rollins ‘Uncut’ from Belfast, South Africa and New Orleans; the recently aired US critically acclaimed news commentary series, The Media Project (6 x30’), hosted by Gideon Yago the Peabody and Emmy award winning news correspondent and created by Michael Moore’s ‘Sicko’ and ‘Farenheit 9/11’ producer and one-off special At The Death House Door (1x60’/90’) a personal and intimate look at the death penalty in the State of Texas.

The extensive back catalogue of material includes the talk show series, Dinner For Five (49 x 30’), hosted by popular actor and filmmaker Jon Favreau; The Henry Rollins Show (41 x 30’) featuring a range of guests including Eddie Izzard, Billy Bob Thornton and Oliver Stone as well as scripted comedy The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman (16 x 30’) and US acclaimed puppetry programming Greg The Bunny (21 episodes ranging from 7’-15’) ideal for new media and broadcast fillers. One-off documentaries include thought provoking programming including Terror from Tokyo and Does Your Soul Have a Cold?

3DD's 'Spotlight' spin-off series of the Album Chart Show, sponsored by Tesco Entertainment, gets 17 episode extension on Channel 4. Chart-topping star Usher films his own Album Chart Show Special. The entire Later with Jools Holland catalogue (more than 200 hours) has been sold to the US and Canada. 3DD goes 360 in a new music series for Channel 4 in the UK and IFC in the US. Sundance Channel picks up 3DD series. Cinémoi, the first and only channel dedicated to French film, has moved to Sky channel 343 bringing a touch of glamour and style to Britain’s TV screens.
