Music VOD service i-concerts has finalised a global partnership deal with New Morning Vision, the audiovisual arm of the legendary Paris based jazz club ‘New Morning’. As part of the agreement, i-concerts has initially secured 80 stunning performances for its service, featuring internationally renowned musicians that have been filmed exclusively at the prestigious ‘New Morning’ club renowned for showcasing the very best in jazz, blues, rock and world music such as Buddy Miles, Ray Barretto, Omar Sosa, Larry Carlton, Archie Shepp, Willy Deville and Roy Ayers, to mention just a few. Further to this, i-concerts™ will also become an associate producer on New Morning Vision’s ‘After Midnight’ series, consisting of 150 HDTV shows scheduled to launch in Autumn 2006 in celebration of the club’s 25th Anniversary.

New Morning Vision has produced over 400 hours of music programming for television. The company recently joined forces with Germany’s In-Akustik to release New Morning – The Paris Concert DVD collection, and is in pre-production for a series of 150 HDTV concerts to be launched later this year in celebration of the club’s 25th anniversary, making New Morning, one of the first clubs in the world with full in-house HDTV production and post-production facilities. Founded in June 2005, i-concerts™ is a pioneering concept in video-on-demand programming and has been created as a TV style channel designed for broadband networks, providing at launch over 250 hours of music programming.

Unlike most existing music platforms, the new service is available exclusively on a syndication basis to broadband and wireless networks looking to bring premium on-demand content to their subscribers. i-concerts™ is currently available to broadband subscribers in France and Belgium.
