3DD Secures Further Sales for London Live

12 October 2006

Currently in production on the second series of the Channel 4 and E4 commissioned London Live (aka The Album Chart Show), 3DD has finalised a number of TV sales with key broadcasters and service providers.

Having already aired Series One, U.S. High Definition network iNHD2, owned by iN DEMAND Networks has already snapped up the second series, whilst new broadcasters to pick-up the first series of London Live include Fox (Italy), WHD (Japan), MMTV (Bulgaria) and Channel 4 (New Zealand).

Further to this, 3DD has concluded a number of deals with leading international Telco companies, who have all acquired the series and will be using London Live to showcase some of the hottest acts to hit the UK charts. These include the i-concerts platform on Free TV (France), T-Com (Germany) via digital distribution specialists MoMedia, and Belgacom (Belgium). NTL in the UK will also be offering Series Two of London Live as part of their High Definition On Demand service.

“The interest in this show has been phenomenal and it just reinforces the on-going demand for live music programming worldwide. Our Second Series will continue to offer the same star-quality and tap into the very latest acts to emerge from today’s music scene,” commented Jayne Pitts, Director of Sales, 3DD.

London Live (aka The Album Chart Show), is commissioned by Channel 4 and E4, and produced by 3DD Productions. Featuring performances and interviews with major music artists such as Paul Weller, Pink, Franz Ferdinand, Razorlight, Morrissey and many more, the series is filmed in High Definition in front of a live audience at the legendary music venue Koko.
